Friday,
October 10 will be a half day for students.
The Elementary will be dismissing at 11:45.
There is no
school on Monday, October 13. Enjoy the
long weekend!
This week we
will continue to focus on the letter Tt as in tent. Show and Tell for the letter Tt has been
moved to Tuesday, October 7. A paper bag
with the letter Tt will be sent home in your child’s folder on Monday. Please send the bag back to school on Tuesday
with one or two small items that start with Tt. Please note that the items must be small
enough to fit inside the brown paper bag.

Please
continue to review the sight words in your child’s folder every night. Remember, the envelope should be sent back to
school each day.
In Math we
will continue learning about analyzing, comparing, and composing shapes.
In Science
we will continue to learn how to solve problems.
The Fall
Festival will take place on Thursday, October 9. You may dress your child in gym clothes. Please make sure your child is dressed for
the weather as the Fall Festival will take place outside unless it rains.
Our specials
schedule for the week is:Monday – Day 4 – Computers
Tuesday – Day 5 –Art
Wednesday – Day 1 – Library (Book Fair! Do not bring library books back until next week.)
Thursday – Day 2 – Music
Friday – Day 3 - Gym (Don’t forget to wear sneakers!)
