This week we will focus on the letter Aa as in apple. Show and Tell for the letter Aa will be on Friday, October 17.. A paper bag with the letter Aa will be sent home in your child’s folder on Thursday. Please send the bag back to school on Friday with one or two small items that start with Aa. Please note that the items must be small enough to fit inside the brown paper bag. Thank you for your help!
Our new
Reading story is called “Flowers”. We
will discuss how flowers are unique, as well as comparing and contrasting.
Please
continue to review the sight words in your child’s folder every night. Remember, the envelope should be sent back to
school each day.
In Math we
will begin learning about numbers from 0-10.
In Science
we will continue to learn how to solve problems.
You will
find a Scholastic Book Order form in your child’s folder. If you would like to order books for your
child’s home library, please send in a check and the order form by Friday,
October 17. You can also order online at
www.scholastic.com. Our classroom access code is LJBCY.
