This week we
will focus on the letter Pp as in pan.
Show and Tell for the letter Pp will be on Friday, October 31. A paper bag with the letter Pp will be sent
home in your child’s folder on Thursday.
Please send the bag back to school on Friday with one or two small items that start with Pp. Please note that the items must be small
enough to fit inside the brown paper bag.

Our new
Reading story is called “Animal Babies in Grasslands”. We will discuss what special animals live in
the grasslands. We will also learn about
main idea.
In Math we
will continue learning about numbers from 0-5.
The NSE
Halloween Parade will take place on Friday, October 31 at 2:00pm. Everyone is invited to stand around the bus
loop to see our students show off their costumes. Please send your child’s Halloween costume to
school in a bag labeled with his/her name.
Do not send your child to school
wearing his/her costume. Please keep
all toy weaponry (guns, swords, etc.) at home.
If you are a
homeroom helper (signed up for PTO and have all clearances turned into the
office) and would like to help at our Halloween Party, please send me a note
letting me know that you can attend. The
party will run from 1:30 until 3:00. You
will be required to sign in at the office prior to coming to our
classroom. Please keep in mind, the line
for sign in will be very long, so you may want to get here prior to 1:30.

Friday – Day 2 – Music – “Love Yourself Day” (Wear red NSE shirt)
