This week we
will focus on the letter Ss as in snake.
Show and Tell for the letter Ss will be on Friday, October 24. A paper bag with the letter Ss will be sent
home in your child’s folder on Thursday. Please send the bag back to school on Friday with
one or two small items that start
with Ss. Please note that the items
must be small enough to fit inside the brown paper bag. Thank you for your help!
Our new
Reading story is called “Nature Spy”. We
will discuss what we can learn about nature when we look closely. We will also learn about setting.
In Math we
will continue learning about numbers from 0-5.
Picture
retakes are scheduled for Thursday, October 23.
If you would like your child to get his/her school pictures retaken,
please send me a note on or before the scheduled date.
Scholastic
order forms are due today, October 17, 2014.
