Kindergarten News for the Week of May 12 – May 16, 2014
We are really winding down the days now. Only 16 more school days until summer! We will be very busy in the next three weeks
as we wrap up our school year.
Our field trip to the Pioneer Tunnel in Ashland will be on
May 28th with a rain date of May 29th. Homeroom helpers, please keep in mind that if
you do not have your 2 credits of PTO activity you will not be permitted to
attend the trip. You can fulfill your
credits by attending PTO meetings or helping at the school store. If you have any questions about how many
credits you need, please contact me or the PTO.
Permission slips for our field trip were sent home on April
30 and are due back by Monday, May 12. If you do not turn in a permission slip your
child will not be permitted to attend the trip with us. If you need another form, please let me know
by Monday. Thank you to everyone who
turned in their permission slips already!
Kindergarten graduation will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May
20 in the high school auditorium. More
details are coming soon!
The North Schuylkill Elementary Carnival will take place on
Friday, May 23. Please see the note from
the PTO in your child’s folder if you’d like to help on that day.
Our specials schedule for the week is:Monday – Day 5 – Art
Tuesday – Day 1 – Library
Wednesday– Day 2 – Music
Thursday– Day 3 - Gym (Remember your sneakers!)
Friday– Day 4 -Computers
