Kindergarten News for the Week of November 4, 2019
Happy November! Don’t
forget to set your clocks back an hour on Sunday! Remember, after today no shorts can be worn
until Daylight Savings Time begins in the Spring.
Reading
Our Unit 2 essential question is: “What do living things
need?” This week’s story is an
informational text called “Open Wide!” It
discusses animal teeth and how different animals eat their food.
We will be focusing on the letter Gg as in goat.
Math
Our essential question is: “How do we read, write, and count
numbers up to 10?” We will be counting
forward and backward with and without objects.
Announcements
We go out for recess every day unless it is raining. Please remember to send your child to school
in an appropriate coat so they are not cold when we are playing at recess.
If you have not sent in the $5.00 donation for party money,
please do so as soon as possible.
Remember to put it in a labeled envelope.
Don’t forget to practice sight words with your child every
night!
