Kindergarten News for the Week of October 14, 2019
Reading
Our Unit 2 essential question is: “What do living things
need?” This week’s story is an
informational text called “Animals on the Move”. We will discuss how and why animals migrate.
We will be focusing on the letters Dd as in dinosaur and Kk
as in kangaroo.
Math
Our essential question is: “How do we read, write, and count
numbers up to 5?” We will be learning to
count a set of objects and demonstrate that the last number said tells the
number of objects in the set.

We go out for recess every day unless it is raining. Please remember to send your child to school
