The
Kindergarten field trip to Rohrbach’s Farm will be on Thursday, October
11. Please make sure your child arrives
at school on time so they do not miss our bus.
Your child should wear his/her black and green field trip shirt that was
sent home last week with uniform pants/shorts, jeans, gym shorts, or sweat
pants. If you signed your child up to be
a packer, don’t forget to pack his/her lunch in a disposable bag so we can
throw everything away after lunch. We
will have a wonderful time!
Scholastic
Book Orders are due on Friday, October 12 if you would like to purchase books.
Friday,
October 12 will be a free Spartan Dress Down Day. Please send your child to school in a Spartan
shirt with jeans or sweatpants/shorts.
Our new
Reading story is called “Dig, Dig, Digging.”
We will discuss classifying and categorizing, as well as how machines
help people work.
This week we
will be focusing on the letter Tt as in tent.
Show and Tell for the letter Tt will be on Friday, October 12. A paper bag with the letter Tt on it will be
sent home in your child’s folder. Please
send the bag back to school on Friday with one or two small items that start
with Tt. Please note that the items
must be small enough to fit inside the brown paper bag. Thank you for your help!
In Math we
will continue learning about shapes. If
you did not sign and return your child’s latest math assessment, please do so
as soon as possible. Thank you!
