Please send your child to school wearing a blue shirt on
Monday, October 2 to support bullying prevention.
The Fall Festival will be held this Thursday, October
5. Students will be permitted to dress
in gym clothes. Please dress your child
for the weather as we will be outside unless it rains.
Don’t forget, field trip permission forms are due back no
later than Friday, October 6.
Our new Reading story is called “Smash! Crash!”.
We will discuss characters, as well as what people like to do with their
friends.
This week we will be focusing on the letter Mm as in
man. Show and Tell for the letter Mm
will be on Friday, October 6. A paper
bag with the letter Mm on it will be sent home in your child’s folder. Please send the bag back to school on Friday
with one or two small items that start with Mm. Please note that the items must be small
enough to fit inside the brown paper bag.

In Math we will continue learning about position and
location of shapes.
Scholastic Book Orders will be sent home this week. They are due back on Friday, October 13.
