The
Boosterthon Fun Run has been moved to Friday, January 26, 2018. Thank you to those of you who have already
asked for pledges from friends and family!
Our class is already up to $8.00 per lap and we have earned a classroom
reward of extra recess. As we gain more
pledges, we will earn more class rewards such as a movie, a dance party, bring
a toy to school, etc. We are so excited
for this fundraiser! If you haven’t
already, please sign your child up at www.funrun.com.
Your child will earn a prize just for signing up!
Don’t forget
to do a quick review of your child’s sight words every night. Remember, students must learn all 96
Kindergarten sight words by the end of the year!
This week we
will be focusing on the letter Oo as in octopus. Show and Tell for the letter Oo will be on
Friday, January 26.
Our new
Reading story is called “The Lion and the Mouse”. We will discuss what causes us to change the
way we feel. We will also learn about main
idea.
In Math we
will be learning to compare and order numbers 1-10.
