The PTO is
holding a Chinese Auction again this year as a fundraiser. Each class is doing a themed basket. Our basket theme is “I Want Candy!”. We are asking that parents send in an item or
items to contribute to our class basket.
Please send any kind of candy. The
candy can be any brand or size. Please
send in your items before March 27, 2017.
Thank you to those of you who already donated! The classroom from each grade whose basket
has the most tickets at the end of the auction will receive an ice cream
party!!
Scholastic
book orders were sent home today and are due back on Friday, March 24.
Our
classroom is in need of tissues. If you
are able to donate a box of tissues to our classroom it would be GREATLY
appreciated!
Don’t forget
to do a quick review of your child’s sight words every night. Remember, students must learn all 96
Kindergarten sight words by the end of the year!
This week we
will be learning the letters Jj and Ww. Show
and Tell will be on Friday, March 24.
Our new
Reading story is called “Max Takes the Train”.
We will discuss different ways of going places. We will also learn about realism and fantasy.
In Math we
will be continuing to learn how to compose and decompose numbers to 10.
