The
Kindergarten Field Trip will be on Thursday, December 1. Students are asked to wear a polo and dress
code approved bottoms or better! This
means that students may wear Christmas dresses, suits, etc (even if they aren’t
dress code appropriate.) Please remember
that we are going to a theatre and we will be representing North
Schuylkill. Students should not wear gym
clothes on the field trip. We will be
leaving PROMPTLY at 9am and returning at approximately 12:30pm. We will be eating a regular school lunch
after our field trip. Please plan your
child’s lunch as you normally do.
Students should NOT bring money on this field trip!
Saturday,
December 10 is the NSE Holiday Concert.
Kindergarten performs at 10am in the NSHS Auditorium. Your child should report to the high school
gym no later than 9:30am. Santa will be
located in the gym for photos. He will
also have cookies! Please arrive early
to allow time for a quick visit. Dress
code clothing or dress-up clothing is permitted. Please, no jeans or sweatpants.
This week we
will be learning the letter Dd as in dinosaur.
Instead of Show and Tell, we will be doing dinosaur projects. Projects will
be due on Friday, December 2. Thank you
in advance for your assistance!
Our new
Reading story is called “Jack and the Beanstalk”. We will discuss how make believe plants are
alike and different. We will also learn
about realism and fantasy.
In Math we
will learning about the numbers 6-10.
