The
Scholastic Book Fair will be going on this week. Our day to shop is on Monday, May 9 during
Library class. Please send your child’s
book fair money in an envelope labeled with his/her name and the amount of
money that is enclosed. Remember, sales
tax will be charged on all items. If you
would like to shop with your child, you can come to the evening sale on Monday,
May 9 from 4:00-7:00pm.
This week we
will be reviewing long and short vowel sounds.
There will be no Show and Tell for the remainder of the year.
Our new
Reading story is called “Old MacDonald Had a Woodshop.” We will discuss what tools you need to build
things. We will also learn about character.
In Math we
will be learning to classify and categorize data.
