The final
Scholastic book order of this school year was sent home in your child’s folder
last Friday. This is your last chance to
stock up on books for the summer! Book
orders are due on Friday, April 29.
The Pottsville
Republican newspaper will be publishing “A Child’s View” on Thursday, April
28. Don’t forget to look for your child’s
response to what they want to be when they grow up!
This week we
will be learning about the letter Qq as in quilt. The girls in our class will get to be queens
for the day on Thursday. On Friday, Q
and U will be getting married! There
will be no show and tell this week.
Our new
Reading story is called “This is the Way We Go to School.” We will discuss how children around the world
get to school. We will also learn about
drawing conclusions.
In Math we
will be learning about measurement.
