There will
be no school for students on Friday, February 13 and Monday, February 16.
Jump Rope
for Heart will take place on Wednesday, February 11. Your child should wear gym clothes and
sneakers on that day.
The class
Valentine’s Day Party will take place on Thursday, February 12. We will be exchanging Valentines. If your child would like to participate in
the exchange, you may use the attached sheet as a reference for names.
Our 100th
Day was a great success! Thank you for
all of your creativity in dressing up your children!
This week we
will be continuing to learn about the letter Oo, though we will concentrate on
Oo in the medial position of words.
There will be no show and tell this week.
Our Reading story this
week is “The Lion and the Mouse”. We
will discuss what causes us to change the way we feel. We will also learn about main idea.
In Math, we will learn about
the numbers 11-20.
