be no school for students on Monday, January 16, 2017.
Friday,
January 20 is a Spartan Dress Down Day.
The suggested donation is $1.00.
I have
extended the Scholastic Book Order deadline to Tuesday, January 17 if there is
anyone who would still like to order books.
This week we
will be focusing on the letter Oo as in octopus. Show and Tell for Oo will be on Friday,
January 20. A paper bag will be sent
home on Thursday. Please send in one or
two items that start with the letter Oo.

Our new
Reading story is called “Then and Now”.
We will discuss what things we use today are different from things used
long ago. We will also learn about drawing
conclusions.
In Math we
will be learning about numbers to 100.
