Wednesday,
January 11 will be a 2 hour data delay for students.
There will
be no school for students on Monday, January 16, 2017.
This week we
will be focusing on the letters Kk as in king and Ff as in fish. To celebrate learning the letter K, we will
be having King Day on Friday. The “kings”
will be able to line up first, ask the girls to sharpen their pencils and get the
best seats during story time. Don’t
worry girls, you will get your special treatment when we have Queen Day for the
letter Q!
Show and
Tell for Kk and Ff will be on Friday, January 13. I will no longer be supplying paper bags for
show and tell. Please send in one or two
items(in any bag) that start with the letters Kk or FF.
Our new
Reading story is called “Farfallina and Marcel”. We will discuss what happens when animals
change. We will also learn about plot.
In Math we
will be continuing to learn about the numbers 11-20.
