We will be
having our Valentine’s Day Party on Thursday, February 11. A list of the students in our class is in
your child’s folder. If you choose to
send Valentines to school with your child, please make sure to include every
member of our class. We don’t want
anyone to feel left out. Thank you!
There will
be no school on Friday, February 12 or Monday, February 15. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 16.
Don’t forget
to do a quick review of your child’s sight words every night. Remember, students must learn all 96
Kindergarten sight words by the end of the year!
This week we
will be focusing on the letter Ll as in lemon.
Show and Tell for the letter Ll will be on Thursday, February 11.
Our new
Reading story is called “My Lucky Day”.
We will discuss what it means to have a lucky adventure. We will also learn about cause and effect.
In Math we
will begin learning about numbers to 100.
