for the Week of January 25, 2016
Report cards
are in your child’s folder. You may keep
the report card for your records, but please sign and return the envelope by
Wednesday, January 27.
Don’t forget
to do a quick review of your child’s sight words every night. Remember, students must learn all 96
Kindergarten sight words by the end of the year!
This week we
will be focusing on the letter Oo as in octopus. Show and Tell for the letter Oo will be on
Friday, January 29.
Our new
Reading story is called “The Lion and the Mouse”. We will discuss what causes us to change the
way we feel. We will also learn about main
idea.
In Math we
will begin learning about numbers to 100.
