for the Week of April 13, 2015
The Chinese
Auction will be held this weekend, April 10 and 11 in the Elementary School
gym. Please see the pink paper in your
child’s folder for more details.
Field trip
permission slips were sent home today.
Please send them back as soon as possible. If the permission slip is not returned, your
child will not be permitted to attend our fun field trip to Zoo America.
Scholastic
Book Order flyers were sent home this week and are due back by Friday, April
17. Please consider ordering books for
your child’s home library. Some books
only cost $1.00!
This week we
will be learning about the letter Xx. Instead
of show and tell for the letter Xx, we will be having a treasure hunt on Friday. Xx marks the spot!
Our Reading story this
week is “Mayday! Mayday!”. We will
discuss what kinds of transportation help us in an emergency. We will also learn about cause and effect.
In Math, we will continue
our topic about understanding subtraction.Our specials schedule for the week is:
Monday – Day
2 - Music
Tuesday – Non-rotation
day (PSSA testing for grades 3-6)
Wednesday – Non-rotation
day (PSSA testing for grades 3-6)
Thursday – Non-rotation
day (PSSA testing for grades 3-6)
Friday – Day
3 – Gym (Don’t forget your sneakers!)
