Kindergarten News for the Week of January 13-January 17, 2014
Next week we will be finishing the letter Kk as in kite. We will also be starting to learn the letter
Bb as in balloon. Show and Tell for
letter Bb will be on Friday, January 10.
Due to the days off and 2-hour delays, we will not be
testing the next word list until January 24.
Word List # 9 will come home next Friday.
In Math this week we will be continuing to learn how to
count to 100.
In Reading this week our story is “Farfallina and Marcel”. We will be discussing how friendships grow
and change. We will also be learning
about plot.
Book order flyers will be coming home today! They
are due back Friday, January 17.
Our specials schedule for the week is:
Monday – Day 5 - Art
Tuesday– Day 1 – Library (Don’t forget your book!)
Wednesday– Day 2 - Music
Thursday – Day 3 – Gym (Remember your sneakers!)
Friday – Day 4 - Computers
