Next week we will be continuing to learn the letter Bb as in
balloon. We will also be learning the
letter Uu as in umbrella. Instead of
Show and Tell on Friday, January 31, we will be doing something a little
different. In your child’s folder you
will find information about a United States project. Please help your child find information on
his/her state and help him/her prepare to present in front of the class on
January 31. Thank you for your help with
this homework!
Due to the most recent snow days and delays, Word List #10 will
come home next Friday and will be tested on Friday, February 7. Don’t worry! We will make up the snow days later in school
year. I will let you know when those
days will be made up as soon as I can.
In Math this week we will be continuing to learn about
numbers to 100.
In Reading, we will be continuing to read our story, “Seeds”. We will be discussing what seeds become when
they are planted. We will also be
learning to draw conclusions.
Due to this week’s snow day, report cards will now be
distributed on Monday, January 27.
