school on Friday, April 19. School WILL be in session beginning on Monday,
April 22. Enjoy your quick Easter break!
This week we
will be learning about the letter Yy as in yo-yo. Show and tell for the letter Yy will be on
Friday, April 26.
Our new
Reading story is called “This is the Way We Go to School.” We will discuss how children around the world
get to school. Our comprehension
strategy is drawing conclusions.
In Math we
will be continuing our measurement unit.
Our essential question is – “How and why do we measure things?”
