Kindergarten News for the Week of February 11, 2019
Love is in the air! Our
Valentine’s Day party will be held on Friday, February 15. The class will be exchanging Valentines. Our class list was sent home in your child’s
folder earlier this week. If your child
gives out Valentines, please be sure that every student in the class is
included so each child gets the same amount.
We do not want anybody to feel left out.
Thank you and Happy Valentine’s Day!!
Friday, February 15 and Monday, February 18 are snow make-up
days. School WILL be in session. Friday, February 15 will be a Spartan dress
down day with a $1.00 donation.
This week we will be learning about the letter Ll as in
lucky. Show and Tell for the letter Ll
will be on Friday, February 15. Please
send in one or two items that begin
with the letter Ll.
This week’s Reading story is called “My Lucky Day.” We will discuss what makes a lucky day. Our comprehension strategy is cause and
effect.
In Math we will be learning about addition. Our essential question is – “How can objects
be joined together?”

Monday – Day 7 – Guidance
Tuesday – Day 8 – P.E. (Don’t forget your sneakers!)
Wednesday – Day 9 – Music
Thursday – Day 10 – Computers
Friday – Day 1 – Art
