The North
Schuylkill Elementary PTO Holiday Shop will be going on this week. Our day to shop is Monday, December 4. Please
use the envelope sent home earlier in the week to plan a budget for your
child. Remember, students will not be
allowed to spend more than $10.00.
Saturday,
December 9 is the NSE Holiday Concert.
Kindergarten performs at 10am in the NSHS Auditorium. Your child should report to the high school
gym no later than 9:30am. Santa will be located
in the gym for photos. Please arrive early to allow time for a quick
visit. Dress code clothing or dress-up
clothing is permitted. Please, no jeans
or sweatpants.
This week we
will be learning the letters Rr as in rain. Show and Tell will be this Friday, December
8. A paper bag will be sent home on Thursday. Please send in one or two items that start with Rr.
Our new
Reading story is called “Little Panda”.
We will discuss how a panda changes in its first year of life. We will also learn about comparing and
contrasting.
In Math we
will learning about the numbers 6-10.
