Kindergarten News for the Week of April 10, 2017

There will be NO Data Delay this month.  Wednesday, April 12 is a regular school day for students.  School will be IN session on Thursday, April 13.

School will be CLOSED on Friday, April 14.  Enjoy your holiday weekend!

Thank you for all of your help with the United States projects!  They looked great and the facts were very interesting!

Don’t forget to do a quick review of your child’s sight words every night.  Remember, students must learn all 96 Kindergarten sight words by the end of the year!

This week we will be learning about the letter Vv as in violin.  Show and Tell for the letter Vv will be on Thursday, April 13.

Our new Reading story is called “The Little Engine That Could.”  We will discuss what kinds work trains do.  We will also learn about plot.

In Math we will continue to learn about composing and decomposing numbers.

Our specials schedule for the week is:
Monday –Day 3 – Music
Tuesday – Day 4 – Computers
Wednesday – Day 5 – Book Exchange (Remember your books!)
Thursday – Day 6 – Art
Friday – No School!
