There is no
school for students on Monday, November 9 due to the parent conferences.
Thursday,
November 12 we will be supporting our troops by wearing jeans! We are asking all who are able to donate $1
to raise money for this great cause.
Your contribution is greatly appreciated!
The
Kindergarten field trip will be on Friday, November 13. Please send your child to school on his/her
regular bus. Students must wear the red
and blue Spartan shirt that was given to them by the PTO.
If your
child was absent on picture day, or if you would like your child’s school
pictures re-taken, please let me know and I will send you a picture form. Picture make ups will be on Wednesday,
November 18.
We will be
accepting donations for the 2nd Annual Coat, Hat, Scarf, and Glove
Drive until Friday, December 4. The
giveaway will be in the Elementary Cafeteria on December 10 from 4-7pm, and
December 12 from 10am-2pm.
This week we
will focus on the letter Cc as in cat.
Show and Tell for the letter Cc will be on Friday, November 13 (when we
return from the field trip). A paper bag
with the letter Cc will be sent home in your child’s folder on Thursday. Please send the bag back to school on Friday with
one or two small items that start
with Cc. Please note that the items
must be small enough to fit inside the brown paper bag. Thank you for your help!
Our new
Reading story is called “Bear Snores On”.
We will discuss what unique thing a bear does in the winter. We will also learn about realism and fantasy.
In Math we
will continue comparing and ordering numbers from 0-5.
