for the Week of May 4, 2015
NSE will be
having a drawing on Friday, May 8 to see who won the AR contest for the
bike! Please have all April AR forms
completed by Wednesday, May 6 so your child has a chance to win. Every child who turned in a completed monthly
AR paper has already been entered into the drawing for that child’s number of
completed months.
I am still
looking for one more family who is interested in taking care of our frogs or
hermit crab for the summer. Please send
me a note if you would like to house one of our animals. Families will be picked on a first come,
first served basis. Thank you!
This week we
will be learning about the letters Vv and Zz.
Show and Tell for the letters Vv and Zz will be on Friday, May 8. Please send in one or two items that begin
with the letter Vv or Zz.
Our Reading story this
week is “On the Move!”. We will discuss how
people in different parts of the world travel.
We will also learn about main idea.
In Math, we will continue
our topic on addition and subtraction.
